Lakers Manicure

It's no secret I'm a huge laker fan.
So when a good friend of mine invited me to a game VIP style, I just knew I had to show my support with a sweet purple & gold LAKESHOW manicure.

I used three polishes, that were just waiting to be used in My lonely un swatched pile.

I started with 2 coats of OPI Funky Dunkey from the shrek collection wich is a beautiful dusty opaque purple.

Then for My accent nail I used Tweet Me from L'oreals New Colour Riche Trend Setter collection. This is a sunny yellow with a beautiful golden orange shimmer. It's a very happy color.

I topped it all of with a little known brand sold at Nordstroms called savina, In a color called gold flecks. This is a clear base filled with micro bar glitter in gold & purple. Just beautiful.

Seche Vite & that's it!

NOTD : Target Red Tangled In My Web

For today's nail of the day, I decided to go with a bright cherry red from Loreal. The polish is called Target Red, it was made exclusively for target stores along with 3 red lipsticks for valentines 2011. I used 2 coats for opaque coverage.
I topped off the red with Wet N Wilds Tangled in My web Topcoat from the 2011 on the prowl Halloween collection. This is black hexagonal glitter in a clear jelly base. I used 2 coats to achieve the look you see here & topped it all off with a coat of seche vite.
I think the black glitter looks great on top of red..it's pretty unique & different from anything else I own..can't wait to try it on top of the Glow polish

The Crystal Clear Winner

I really didn't know what I was missing until I finally gave in and bought a bottle of the ever so popular cult favorite, most peoples holy Grail : Seche Vite Dry Fast Topcoat

The bottle comes in a 14ml(.5fl oz) clear glass bottle. This topcoat dries extremely fast & is self leveling, this means ridges, polishing mistakes & shakey applications are remedied by this product. This will also make Your nail art come alive. The finish is high shine with a crystal clear glass like reflection. seche penetrates wet layers of polish hardening it to a single smooth solid coat.

This topcoat does contain Toulene, so make sure you use it in well ventilated areas

Remember:

Always apply to nails while still wet.
Apply a thick bead of seche to each nail. The product will become thick overtime from evaporation.. Purchase seche restore to extend wear. Never use polish thinner it wont work with this topcoat. Only use for a topcoat! Never for touchups

It's worth every penny!! Believe the hype on this one. I painted My nails 20 minute before bed & woke without any sheet marks.....Amazing!
