I topped my Nars Orgasm with Deborah Lipmanns Oh you Pretty Things

I was so lucky to find (ie. STALK) Deborah Lippmann polish at My local Tj Maxx. I called and had them hold what they had. The associate was like do You wanna know the colors? I was like Nope, Just hold em...I will be right there within the hour. I'm sure he thought I was a polished crazed wierdo lol.
Anywho legend had it that the coveted DL polish was being sold at TJ for 5.99
Wellllllll the rumors are TRUE...I only paid 5.99each for 2 bottles of naked which is an amazing nude (I already own her) that I gifted to My Mother & Younger sister
The 3rd bottle was a beautiful soft sheer peach with pink coral shimmers called Oh You Pretty Things....Gorgeous.

I knew I would layer her with a similar shade I aready own Nars Orgasm. This combo is soooooo amazing. Pictures don't do the magic on my finger tips justice (I've also cut my talons into nubbies that I'm LOVING)
I tried to capture the essence of this manicure.....just trust me on this one...I've painted my nails hundreds probably thousands probably more but anyway....this has got to be in My top five favorite combos!

Claire's Candy Shop is a Dupe!

Bubble gum jelly packed with rainbow glitters? Oh yeah!! I will take it!

Got this beauty at Claire's while browsing the mall. She is an EXACT Dupe for Deborah Lippmans Candy Shop......funny they used the same name.
For a fraction of the cost I absolutely love it. I got many compliments while wearing this....I'm sure I will wear this many times throughout the summer.

Anybody else find any other good Dupes lately??

***for this Mani I've used 3 coats of Candy Shop & ive also added rhinestones for extra sparkle

Today I have My most recent manicure that I am super in loves with.
I recently recieved some nail mail (yay!!) and I am now the proud owner of My very first Lippmann polish. This is a very proud moment for me. I have over 200 bottles of nail polish on 2 acrylic racks and in desperate need of a 3rd. I have personally promised my self to fill it up with more high end & indie polish brands. This lippman falls into the high end category at 16.00 a bottle. I picked the shade Naked which is a beautiful creme beige. Not exactly Manniquin hands for me as I have a golden brown skintone, but beautiful none the less. 2 coats gave full coverage & the formula was beautiful and rich.
And just because I can never leave well enough alone I added an accent finger with China Glaze Luxe & Lush from the Hunger games collection (aka Capitol Colors)
This is a fabulous flakie topcoat! A must have for any collector. I almost passed without looking thinking this was a Essie Shine of the Times Dupe. It's NOT. This has a beautiful fiery opal color shift & looks like shattered irridecent glass.

I think these two go really well together. This is a great neutral mani with a bit of pizzazz.
I see my self using both of these colors often. Naked gives a very clean look which I love and often crave after really intricate & busy manis. I can't wait to see Luxe & Lush layered over cool pinks,mint & grey colors

Dupe Alert! Revlon Vs. Lippmann

Calling all Lippmann addicts : Revlon has made a Fabulous dupe for Bad Romance & Dare I say.. It's even a tad Better (Gasp!) yes I said better ladies. It's called Facets of Fuchsia & it's Gawwjuss ;) Its apart of the Fall/Winter 2011 collection

Revlon has managed to pack tons of purpley-pink fuchsia hexagonal glitters into a black jelly base. Depth,sparkle,pretty,vampy,chic & budget friendly all @ the same time.

Perfect coverage with 3 coats, looks best with 2 coats over a black base & seche vite top coat.

Have fun removing this one..
