I've swatched on a Colorwheel...still debating on if I should add a bit of spectraflair to the mix
Hmmmm...manicure coming soon

What are your thoughts on My juicy new franken?

Kyms Big Day Swatches

Today is My soon to be sister in laws Bridal Shower for her up coming wedding June 2nd.
Her wedding colors are Wisteria purple, ivory & silver. To commemorate her Day I've made her a custom nail polish. Appropriately named "Kym's Big Day"
This is a sheer light purple Holo. Made with various pigments as well as spectra flair mixed into a milky base. This color is buildable to bottle color with three coats as shown on the Colorwheel. I've also swatched on top of black, white & Color Clubs Puccilicious. There is a dramatic transformation on black.
I dressed the bottle with rhinestone "buttons" to coordinate the wedding colors and topped it with a black bow tie.

Hope You enjoy....

Ps..I apologize for the swatch pics. My camera doesn't seem to like holos.

Frankly Lisa swatched

Sooo a couple of weeks ago I mixed a a pretty wild looking franken & I asked for name ideas....Thank You for all the ideas, they were great.
I loved Lisa Frank the most and decided as a nod to Miss Frank I'd call this polish Frankly Lisa.

The base for FL is a sheer purple with irridecent hex glitter that shifts colors...thus making it a pain in the A** to capture :) I did the best I could

I used a color wheel. I swatched her at 1 & 2 coats alone then over 3 complimenting shades:

•LA Girl freak
•LA Girl groovy
•Sally Hansen sturdy sapphire

Overall I like this franken because it is My first.....but I really want more of the bottle color...so I will keep working on it & get back to You

When Frankens go WILD!

Hello My lovely Genii

Hope You had an Awesome weekend & didn't pull too many pranks.

Today I can barely contain Myself. Every blogger or polish lover has at one time or another decided that they wanted more from their Nail polish stash...mixing in some of this color and adding a few drops of that sparkle.

This is called "Franken" (short for Frankenstien) franken experimenting can be super fun. Sometimes you make a Beautiful masterpiece & sometimes You just make a mess.

You can add pigments, glitters and shimmers, even matte polish or crackle for diffrent texture & finish. You can even try using Your favorite eyeshadow crushed up.
Hmmm...I wonder if using foundation would work ( the powder kind ) wouldn't that be The perfect nude for Your skintone? <--- I will experiment & get back to You on that.

Today I tried my First Frankens. I decided to start with clear base and just added this and that until I was happy.
I'm not going to give out the specific formula on this. Since I was so happy with it, I'm thinking about making more of these and selling them.
I would be happy to know Your thought on this franken. What Would You name it?

Please post Your Frankens on My Fb wall to see. I would love to see Your creations

**I only use seche vite topcoat, so whenever I recieve others in sets or as gifts I set aside, so I can use them for future Frankens

Let that creativity flow!
