Artsy Aussie Wednesday
This weeks Artsy Wednesday theme was Animal print.
For my first attempt at an animal print I decided to go Natural. I chose a leopard print.
I used 3 colors for this effect :
Sally Hansen's Smooth Perfect color care in Dune was the base color
Essie's Case Study & Sally hansens Nail Growth Miracle in Forbidden Fudge were used to make the print.
I used the end of a paint brush to make various size spots on my nail in Case Study. I then used a toothpick and forbidden fudge to do the darker outline. Very easy & quick even though it looks like a complex pattern.
I am pretty happy with the turn out. I'd like to try it again using bright colors.

Essie Manicure
Today I have my Essie manicure using Armed and ready from The Go overboard collection. This a a greyed out army green with a hidden golden shimmer. For My accent nail I used Essie Case Study a rich camel beige. This is from the fall 2011 Brand new bag collection.
This is a beautiful pairing. I love the contrast between the two colors. Making the polka dots is extremely easy. Use the end of a makeup brush..
Perfect dots everytime.
I hope you enjoy this easy chic manicure. I'd love to see yours

Essie Shine Of The Times
Holy Mother of Flakies! We have quite a beautiful varnish in the LuxeEffect holiday 2011 collection .
This collection was such a suprise to me, as Essie is usually a bit more conservative in their color releases. This is definitely more on the Wild side& I LoVe it!
Can't wait to post picks of this Chameleon color over various shades for you! This one shade makes every polish different
Snap it up before its gone...especially if u missed out on Sally Hansens Treasure Chest or have been Lemming for Nubar 2010
I'm sure this will be one of my top 10 of 2011
