ARTSY WEDNESDAY Ombré

This week our them is ombré:

Ombre

n. A French term meaning "shaded." Usually a multicolored stripe, with colors graduating from light to dark.

I celebrated My 1st wedding anniversary this week so I chose to use shades of pink for My mani...pinks and reds always translate love for me :)

In the end I realized my mani really reminded me of Gwen stefani's gorgeous ombré wedding gown.

Did a cute summer Mani on My little sister.

Leopard Rouge

The first OPI I ever wore happens to be this beautiful reddish wine shimmer shade called "I'm Not Really A Waitress"
I recently came across her again. This is a great red for My skintone. Very pretty all on its own...even better when it goes wild! I decided to add Leapord print down one side in coordinating shades. Using Color Clubs Red-iCal Gypsy for the spots (wine creme)& OPI Midnite In Moscow (shimmery blackened burgandy) for the outline.
To make it extra Fab I've added a coat of My own Signature Color The GENiUS TopCoat (a course linear holographic Clear coat)

I've included holo & the delicate glitter pirouette My whistle(which was impatiently sitting in My unused pile)...it's been three days & I'm still wearing this. Artsy Wednesday SHOES

This week has brought us to one of My personal favorite themes: SHOES!

I knew right away that My nails this week would be based upon My life long love of Air Jordan's. I started wearing them in 3rd grade & still have quite the collection today. Air Jordan's are My absolute favorite. My nails are based upon the Original Red,black & White color ways. I am a huge Michael Jordan fan, so I was very pleased with how they turned out.

Franken Berri Swatched

Here are some Colorwheel swatches of a sparkling berry colored franken I've been working on called "Franken Berri"
Named after the fruity Halloween cereal :)

Ive swatched her at 1 & 2 coats to show opacity....then layered on top of one of My favorite sheer berries OPI'S Do You Think I'm Tex-y.

Artsy Wednesday Flowers

Welcome to flowers week on Artsy Wednesday :)

OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know was sitting in My unused pile begging to be apart of this weeks theme. So I started of with 2coats of WSLTK. I made the petals with Color Club & dotted them with SOPI Studs & Stillettos. Topped it all of with Northern Lights Gold Hologram Topcoat.
Pretty easy & turned out ok...considering this was My first doing flowers.
