Yes please. Of course since I missed out on Nikki's MAC lipstick "Pink Friday" I wasn't about to let her new lippie slip away.

I headed to My local MAC & snatched her up....unfortunately the Ricky lip conditioner was sold out.

But anyways on to the NIKKI ;)
She is super bright & pink. This is a yellow based pink, that photographs a bit coral. She is a chameleon pink that looks different in ever type of light. Very cute for summer. If she seems to bold and bright, You can sheer her out out or layer with another color.

I Love Matte.

NYX has the best Matte lipstick in a wide range of colors for around 5.00...I plan on getting more of these.
I picked up pure red and was truly suprised at the pigmentation & texture. This goes on super smooth and even. Even though this is a matte lippie, it's still very supple without adding shine.
The pinks are so beautiful as well.

Fashion designer Betsey Johnson has teamed up with Sephora & OPI for a nail line that includes 7 nail polishes (9.50each) 3 nail polish strips(12.00each), stick on nail charms(5.00each), a six piece mini polish set(24.00) & one scented nail polish called "Its My Pink"(9.50)

I picked up the scented polish as fast as I could ;) I'm a sucker for that type of stuff. She is a bold bright pink & smells AMAZING...once your nails are fully dry. This will be one of My summer staples!

PURE ICE

I hardly ever go to Wally world so I never see PURE ICE polish in My neck of the woods. This week while hanging out with My Mom, We made a Trip out to Walmart & I Made a Bee line for the Cosmetic section.
I picked up 2 PURE ICE COLORS.
Both are beautiful sheer color shifters.

First up is "Oh Baby" a milky clear shimmer that sparkles blue,green & even purple. This would be perfect over an opaque light pink or white polish.

2nd we have "Rio" a bright pinky purple with a shimmer that flashes Ivey blue. This color would take many layers to achieve bottle color. Use a fuschia polish as a base color for a bolder turn out.

I'm pretty pleased with both colors. I like layering. Both are versatile & unique. I like colors with a little something special. They are pretty cheap at under 2.00

In Love with a sparkly TuTu

I was really feeling the L-O-V-E. my Hubz picked out some beautiful pale pink Tulips for me...so of course I was inspired.
The flowers reminded me of a color I'd been dying to swatch for you all. Nicole for OPI Kardashian Kollection "Kim-pletely in love" she is a delicate sheer pink with color shifting iridescence. Just gorgeous. Because she is so sheer. I used Sinful colors "TuTu" as a base color. TuTu is a pale pink as well, but she is a tad rosier than Kim and has a slight shimmer.
For My accent finger I brought out the bling to give this delicate Mani a little edge. "Spit Fire" is My first color from Pure Ice. Shout out to My Lil sis Sydney for pointing her out to me. We both agree Spit Fire is a Good Enough dupe for OPI's Teenage Dream.

I'm completely in love with this pink combo :)

Artsy Wednesday! Even tho its Tuesday

Im posting early since the other ladies involved are already in wednesday time zones...enjoy!

Yeah baby! Ive joined forces with some amazing bloggers to bring You geniuses "Artsy Wednesday" every Wednesday We will present our nail designs from one common theme. Each week there will be a new theme. All the ladies involved are super creative. I'm so excited :) This weeks theme: favorite book or inspired by a book. The book I've chosen to be inspired by is a children's book from 1979 called Cookie Monsters Book of Cookie Shapes. This is a Sesame Street storybook that was very popular in Our household. My Younger brother was a huge Fan of the show and characters. Most of all he loved Cookie Monster.I thought it would be really fun to translate this into a manicure. To get this Look I used four colors, I found the perfect Cookie Monster blue in color clubs "Chelsea Girl"...for the cookies I used Maybellines Express Finish in a Limeted Edition color called "Natural Beauty". The white is NYXgirls & the details were done with Art Club nail art stripper in BlackI used a tooth pick for the chocolate chips and Cookies mouth. I used the back end of a paintbrush for eyeballs and cookie shapes. Topped the whole thing off with Seche Vite.I loved how easy & cute this mani came outMake sure you check out the other Artsy Wednesday Manicures:

Whimsical meets Cinderella

A match made in fairy tales...the beautiful Cinderella (baby blue with a tiny iridescent pink flake) from sinful colors...played really well with Revlons Whimsical (sheer light blue with chunky pink & blue glitter)

And they lived happily ever after....

Both colors have been hard to find. I got really lucky with Cinderella @ found her at Walgreens. Whimsical was a gift.

LA PAZ-itively HOT

Me & My most favoritest person (My Mama) went out for pedis, cuz our dogs were barking from a day full of shopping.
We hit up a little spot in the valley that I like and settled into out spa chairs. We always have a great time in our own little world laughing & talking ish. We are so similar sometimes its scary..well We happen to pick the same exact pink OPI polish. This pink was a beautiful bold hot pink with a bluish pink flash throughout....more of a summer shade but we didn't care. The subtle shimmer & flash adds depth and sets the pink apart from others making it unique.... Of course in the presence of such an amazing shade..we flipped the bottle to see the name and the label was missing.(of course)
The techs were no help at all & wouldn't even sale us the bottle ( yes we wanted it that bad )

Oh well boo hoo We moved on with our perfectly hot pedis & went on with life...absence makes the heart grow fonder ;)

Well this weekend I stumbled across that very polish at nordstroms ;) it's called LA PAZ-itively HOT & it's from the south American collection.
Now our life's complete..lol until next time ( gotta love the hunt )

Green with ENVY...or not

Spring is near, that means sinful colors elusive "green ocean" has surfaced again this year. This is a beautiful green color shifting flakie...so I snapped her up & took her home to live with all the other colors.
I think my hopes may have been a bit too high....first off The formula is a bit goopy. So you need to add a little thinner to make her workable. Second she isn't very consistent with her beauty...I was left with either overkill or bald patches. And last the end result is a bit chunky & the flakies don't lie flat ( definitely needed mucho Seche Vite)

But hey for 1.99 or 99cents if your lucky...she is a gorgeous unique color.

Also wanted to add if your looking for the PERFECT caramel shimmer lip....MAC Spring Bean is Your girl.

Now I know she seems a bit scary in the tube...but she translates so beautiful on the lip ( Remember Green nuetralizes Red ) same thing applies here & your left with a gorgeous neutral pout....and all your girls asking : what is that?? Lol, just smile & put em up on game.

It's seriously my 5th tube..I pick one up every spring.

Nikki Minaj Save Me and Fly

I've tracked down 2 colors from the Nikki collection..I know I'm on the late train a bit, since the collection has been out since mid January...so sue me ;)

We have "Save Me" a holographic bar glitter suspended in a clear base with silver micro glitters..I'm pretty sure I see flashes of blue here too. This damn glitter gets me everytime....must have it. Although in its defense, i dont have anything like it since it is a holo bar glitter.

Next we have "Fly" a vivid-squishy-vibrant- teal blue creme that is opaque with 2 coats. This polish is a dream to apply and dries very smooth and glossy
